Water Level Sensor
The Water Level Sensor is a simple to use, but very useful device for detecting when water (or other inert liquids) exceed a set level. The sensor is mounted with the main body vertical. In this position the presence of water will cause the loose fitting ring to float higher. This movement of the ring will cause the internal circuitry to close contacts on a miniature reed relay mounted inside the unit. These contacts are brought out to a pair of attached wires. This provides a clear indication that the water level has changed and can be used with or without a control board to operate alarm or correcting devices.
